Special Service Fees: During business hours and after hours, a $50.00 service fee will be charged for service connections, meter re-reads, meter checks, tagging doors for non-payment, returned checks or anything that requires a special trip to a residence or business.

Responsibilities

Water: The Authority maintains the water mains and service lines up to and including the meter. If trouble occurs between the meter and the house, it becomes the homeowner’s responsibility.

Sewer: The Authority maintains the major collection lines. All house service lines are the homeowner’s responsibility.

Water Rates

Individuals over the age of 65 receive 3,000 gallons in the monthly minimum.

Residential Sewer Rates

For sewer with metered water:

Individuals over the age of 65 receive 2,000 gallons in the monthly minimum.

For sewer with unmetered water:

Disconnect (Cut-Off) Fees for Non-Payment

All payments are due upon receipt. If the balance is not paid in full by the close of business, as indicated on the monthly billing statement, a ten percent penalty will be charged to the account and a late notice will be sent to the customer. 

If the balance is not paid by the close of business on the date indicated on the late notice, a $75.00 "non-payment" fee will be charged to the account and services will be subject for disconnection. If a disconnection for non-payment occurs, and the customer requests service to be restored "after hours" an additional fee of $50.00 will be added to the account.

Returned Checks

There is a $25.00 fee in addition to the amount of the returned check. We only accept cash or money order for a returned check. After two checks are returned for insufficient funds within a 6 month period, accounts are placed on a "Cash Basis Only" status for the next 12 months.
